"Food/drinks/atmosphere were great! We got the appetizer sampler and a Mexican shrimp cocktail and they were phenomenal! Awesome sunset from the deck, too. 10/10 will return."

"Update: we literally came back the next night. Got the half pound boiled shrimp and 2 mangonadas to start. Just as good as the night before. For entrees we got one honey jalapeño shrimp, one seafood stuffed shrimp, one side of fries and one side of green beans. I didnt take any pictures but everything was so freaking good. Like, everything. Im already think about how I can copy their green beans and seafood stuffed shrimp at home. Our server was Brenda and she was just as good/nice/attentive as Karrie. Don't pass this place up. I was a little nervous after reading the poor reviews on staff and wait time. I guess we were lucky and didnt experience any of this. We came at 5p on a Saturday and there was no wait. Our waitress, Karrie, was simply amazing. She gave wonderful recommendations (what ever you do, please put the Tony C seasoning on your coleslaw) and was very attentive. We had the pound of boiled shrimp appetizer, the seasoning was delicious. We had the stingaree mangonada margarita and the bolivar breeze. The margarita was huge and delicious. The bolivar breeze was good but so small. For our entrées we had the Bolivar boiler and the grilled seafood plater and both blew our expectations out of the water. Everything on the grilled seafood platter was so good, but the shrimps (bbq, regular and stuffed) and catfish stole the show. The boiler was seasoned perfectly. Honestly we could have shared one of the entrées, it was a lot of food. One of the best thing about our visit was Uncle George. He came to check on us half way through our meal, I saw him checking on other guests and bussing tables. When I asked Karrie who he was she said he was one of the original owners and now a manager. Its been a long time since I've seen a manager walking to check on guests and bus tables. We are planning on coming back tomorrow night."

"Stingaree delivered. Had the shrimp po’boy sandwich (it was bland, but chock full of shrimp) and the stuffed shrimp with a loaded baked potato. Both dishes were tasty. Plentiful portions provided. Server Hailey P. was fantastic. Very attentive, provided excellent customer service. Only downside: The almost world-famous Stingarita. It was tiny, almost insultingly so, and very pricy. Skip the margarita. Additionally, you pay a higher amount if you pay with credit card (about 3% more) so bring cash and save a little money. Everything else was wonderful. A great experience. Will definitely visit again for the food and service."

"Restaurant is very clean and we were greeted with smiling faces. We ordered Bloody Mary’s, which were small but quite good. We ordered fried shrimp with various sides, hush puppies, red beans and rice , and dirty rice . Shrimp were plump and sweet, sides were well seasoned. There was one order of fried oysters, they weren’t very large but tasty. For dessert we got a key lime pie with Oreo cookie crust and a lemon blueberry mascarpone cake, both were excellent. Our waitress was exceptional and attentive. Over all great place to enjoy lunch or dinner."

"Drove over 70 miles here to explore the beach and were looking for food. Found this place from asking locals and we were NOT disappointed. Kerri our server was so sweet and welcoming and was very attentive to refilling drinks and making sure we were doing okay. She even gave us tips on where to find sea glass and seashells!! She was super awesome!!! We will definitely be back!"

"One of our favorite places on Bolivar Peninsula. It is a must stop every visit. Food is excellent, food is consistent and fast, no matter how busy they are. They often have daily or weekend specials that are amazing. Especially the Spicy Cajun Alfredo Bread Bowl. The servers are efficient, very attentive and friendly. Today we had James (GrayBeard) and he did a fantastic job of taking care of us. He was friendly, quick to check if we had any needs and our glasses never went empty. The original owner of Stingaree even stopped by our table to visit. I bring all of my friends and family to Stingaree when they visit our home here. The current and longtime owner is also very friendly and often stops by tables to chat or answer questions . Every staff member pitches in, even if they are not assigned to a table, they still pop by and ask if all is good or anything needed. Don’t forget to stop by the excellent selection of merch on the way out. It is always on hand and updated frequently. Lastly, if you plan to go for dinner, go before sunset so you can go out on the deck and catch the best sunset view on Crystal Beach."

"It’s a fun restaurant to run the boat to. The docks are newly redone. The food is pretty good. The drinks are great. The service is usually pretty good. The only “complaint” I have is we are clear that we don’t want salt on the mugarita rim. Usually it’s not an issue but sometimes it has been. Of course the drinks go back to the bar but the bartender will just pour the salted Rita into another glass. That’s not ok to me. You have to watch that. If you dint mind it then it’s not a big deal but for someone who doesn’t like the overpowering salt taste, you need to watch. They will fix it so that’s ok. We’ve been going for years. It is worth it. The upstairs and downstairs hace different menus. Both have delicious drinks!"

"Ask for Cody B, was very attentive, personality was excellent, and he goes above and beyond as a server! We had calamari that was perfect. Small sizes only available and that ensured nothing was chewy. Perfect crunch and taste served with the best marinara, however we chose cocktail sauce for them and that tasted even better! Did a combo plater with fried catfish and grilled shrimp with fries and grilled veggies. Veggies cooked perfectly, grilled shrimp was fantastic (comes with 4 HUGE shrimp), catfish batter was delicious and fries had a wonderful crunch! Must try the key lime pie with Oreo crust! We will see you guys again!!"
